This is home. Sweet Lilacs is based in Jamestown, and the rolling, oak-studded foothills of California's Gold Country are the landscape that shapes everything we design. We know these hills the way only a local can, which direction the afternoon sun falls across a vineyard terrace, which wildflowers bloom along the back roads in May, and which venues will take your breath away in every season.

Gold Country weddings carry a character all their own, rustic but refined, romantic and deeply rooted in the legacy of the Sierra foothills. The region's vineyard venues are among the most stunning in Northern California, offering everything from intimate wine-cave ceremonies to sweeping receptions under ancient oak canopies. Our studio is in the Sierra foothills, but our flowers have traveled far beyond them. Sweet Lilacs is a destination wedding florist at heart, and we welcome inquiries from couples celebrating anywhere in California and beyond. Susan has designed florals at a country club overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, for events across the Midwest, and for celebrations in some of the most remote and breathtaking locations California has to offer. Distance is never a reason to say no, it's just another part of the adventure.
